Tawakkalna Surpasses 36 Million Beneficiaries as Saudi Arabia Consolidates Multi-Sector Public and Commercial Services Under Unified National Super App

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s national comprehensive digital platform, Tawakkalna, developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has expanded its operational infrastructure to serve more than 36 million citizens, residents, and international visitors, establishing a decisive benchmark for government technology integration and civic service delivery across the region.

Functioning as the Kingdom’s unified, trusted digital gateway, the super app has successfully interconnected disparate administrative architectures into a single operational interface spanning public healthcare, judicial transactions, commercial validation, municipal administration, housing verification, urban transport, and telecommunications oversight.

In the healthcare and social development arenas, the platform empowers registered users to verify medical insurance policies, inspect consolidated electronic health records, execute digital powers of attorney with the Ministry of Justice, and access portfolio dashboards provided by the General Organization for Social Insurance and the Social Development Bank.

To protect corporate governance and commercial reliability, Tawakkalna integrates validation modules enabling beneficiaries to inspect verified commercial registrations directly with the Ministry of Commerce, confirm licensed e-commerce platforms through the Saudi Business Center, and review compliant electronic tax invoices authorized by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).

Within daily urban mobility, the super app connects citizens with public transit networks via the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s Darb transit planner, automates vehicle roadworthiness inspection scheduling, links municipal parking networks, and manages registered national addresses verified by Saudi Post (SPL).

The ecosystem also provides centralized telecommunications line auditing through the Communications, Space and Technology Commission’s My Numbers registry and integrates citizen satisfaction scoring mechanisms overseen by the National Center for Performance Measurement (Adaa), underpinning the digital governance and quality of life goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
