Zain Bahrain Partners with Kerne Youth to Launch ‘Women in Tech’ Initiative Focused on AI and Digital Innovation

MANAMA — Leading telecommunications and digital services operator Zain Bahrain has entered into a strategic partnership with Kerne Youth, a youth led educational and professional training platform dedicated to peer knowledge sharing and technical skills development, to officially launch the Women in Tech initiative across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The collaborative program is specifically structured to equip female participants with the foundational theoretical knowledge, applied practical skills, and professional industry pathways required to participate actively across the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence and digital innovation sectors. By uniting corporate telecommunications infrastructure and industry mentorship with dynamic youth driven educational frameworks, the alliance aims to cultivate a sustainable pipeline of female digital talent capable of leading technical teams and driving technological transformation across the local economy.

The deployment of the Women in Tech initiative builds upon Zain Bahrain’s broader corporate sustainability, diversity, and digital inclusion mandates, which focus on narrowing the gender gap within specialized science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields while supporting national youth empowerment goals aligned with Bahrain’s digital economy roadmap.
