e& UAE, Core42 Launch Sovereign AI Compute Infrastructure
ABU DHABI — e& UAE and Core42 have launched a sovereign artificial intelligence compute service designed to give organisations secure, immediate access to in-country GPU infrastructure while keeping sensitive data and workloads within the UAE.
The Sovereign AI Compute platform is the first joint offering under a broader partnership between e& UAE and Core42, a G42 company specialising in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure and digital services.
The service combines Core42’s AI computing infrastructure with e& UAE’s private, carrier-grade connectivity, allowing customers to connect enterprise environments directly to sovereign GPU capacity.
According to the companies, organisations will be able to use the platform to build, train, fine-tune, run inference and deploy AI applications at scale without moving sensitive workloads outside the country.
Core42 said the offering provides immediate access to its heterogeneous accelerator infrastructure and is supported by implementation expertise from Core42 Delivery Services.
Esam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President of SMB Sales and Marketing at e& UAE, said the platform supports the country’s ambition to establish an AI-native economy and advance the national agentic AI agenda.
“This directly supports the UAE’s vision to build an AI-native economy and advance the national agentic AI agenda by enabling organizations to deploy intelligent systems that can analyze, decide and act with greater speed and confidence,” Mahmoud said.
He added that the platform’s value extends beyond computing capacity to include private connectivity, local support and a practical route from AI development into production.
Jaafar Al Hashmi, Vice President of Government Relations and Market Development at Core42, said the partnership moves sovereign AI beyond foundational infrastructure and turns it into an operational capability.
“This partnership with e& UAE extends sovereign AI from foundational infrastructure into an operational capability, integrating compute, connectivity, and implementation into a single framework built for deployment,” Al Hashmi said.
The platform targets sectors with strict requirements around data sovereignty, security and regulatory compliance, including government, healthcare, financial services, energy, education, retail, manufacturing and industrial operations.
Core42 positions its broader AI infrastructure portfolio around high-performance computing, sovereign cloud controls and compliance-ready deployment environments.
The partnership gives UAE organisations a locally hosted path to scale AI workloads while maintaining control over sensitive data, connectivity and implementation.
