G42 Expands Intelligence Grid into Europe with Multi-Sector Strategic AI and Infrastructure Agreements in Greece

ATHENS — Abu Dhabi sovereign technology holding group G42 alongside five of its core operating subsidiaries has executed multiple strategic memoranda of understanding with Greek government authorities and private sector enterprises in Athens, marking the formal European expansion of G42’s sovereign Intelligence Grid framework across physical compute infrastructure, public sector governance, life sciences, and urban cognitive intelligence.

The cross border agreements were formalized during an official ministerial delegation to Athens steered by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Trade in conjunction with the UAE Greece Business Forum. The strategic transactions operationalize G42’s declared mandate to deliver utility scale artificial intelligence as an accessible resource comparable to electrical grids, uniting tier three and tier four data center footprints, high density GPU clusters, sovereign cloud virtualization, and localized software applications in full alignment with European Union regulatory and data privacy standards.

Under the infrastructure vertical, wholesale digital infrastructure provider Khazna Data Centers and sovereign cloud operator Core42 signed an agreement with Greek industrial conglomerate Copelouzos Group to explore developing an advanced AI factory in Greece. Under the proposed operational architecture, Khazna will steer the civil engineering and physical data center development, while Core42 will supply scalable cloud computing stacks to power artificial intelligence model training and inferencing across commercial banking, telecommunications networks, maritime shipping lines, and public agencies throughout Southeast Europe.

In municipal administration, big data analytics leader Presight signed an agreement with Greece’s Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence to deploy predictive urban telemetry platforms, focusing initially on demonstrating how Agentic AI frameworks can automate municipal waste management logistics and monitor drinking water distribution networks using open and synthetic data arrays. Concurrently, applied artificial intelligence developer Inception42 will partner with the same ministry to embed autonomous software agents into public administration and state schooling, developing automated platforms to document cabinet proceedings, monitor executive policy delivery, upskill civil servants on agent workflows, and provide tailored AI tutoring systems for national classrooms.

Under the biotechnology track, healthcare intelligence group M42 completed an agreement with Athens LifeTech Park (ALTP) to build an integrated biomedical research corridor bridging the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf. The alliance encompasses clinical trials, population scale genomics sequencing, and biobank connectivity to accelerate joint oncology, rare disease, and neuroscience research, while establishing a bilateral commercial incubator bridge allowing Emirati biotechnology startups to establish a European operational base at ALTP and providing Greek life sciences innovators access to M42’s regional clinical testing infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.

Mansoor Al Mansoori, Chief Executive Officer of G42 International, affirmed that the agreements establish a vital foundation for exporting the group's Intelligence Grid across European markets in close alignment with continental standards, uniting trusted local industrial partners to convert raw computational power into tangible economic productivity for Greece and the broader region.
