ABU DHABI — The inaugural Middle East edition of the Arabian Chatbot and Agentic AI Summit officially opened on Monday at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, convening artificial intelligence specialists, public sector transformation officials, academic researchers, and enterprise executives to advance the deployment of autonomous AI systems and conversational platforms across the Gulf region.
Expanding to the United Arab Emirates from its original European conference series established in Britain, the one day summit centered on the operational transition toward agentic artificial intelligence, focusing on autonomous software architectures capable of executing complex, multi step reasoning and workflows alongside generative language models, interactive chatbots, and voice interfaces. Technical panels and masterclass sessions examined how enterprises and government entities are migrating beyond initial proof of concept trials toward resilient, large scale production deployments, addressing critical operational hurdles including legacy system integration, algorithmic reliability, human oversight, regulatory compliance, and ethical governance.
Dr. Anas Najdawi, Dubai Campus Director and Associate Professor of Digital Business at Abu Dhabi University, emphasized the strategic imperative of reinforcing national digital sovereignty by engineering localized technologies, cultivating domestic talent, and scaling sovereign compute infrastructure. Dr. Najdawi noted that the United Arab Emirates stands at the forefront of global digital governance by pairing proactive regulatory policies with the development of homegrown foundation models engineered to comprehend Arabic linguistics and cultural context. He highlighted that Abu Dhabi University, operating across campuses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain, is actively expanding undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral curricula to generate scientific patents and prepare national graduates capable of building proprietary technologies across education, media, corporate administration, and commerce rather than functioning solely as technology consumers.
Faisal Al Dhaheri, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clickilink (Clicky Link), underscored the transformative impact of applied artificial intelligence on executive decision making, operational productivity, and enterprise information security. Al Dhaheri noted that the summit’s arrival in Abu Dhabi reflects accelerating international engagement with Middle Eastern technology innovation and the supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem cultivated within the Emirates. He highlighted how Clickilink, originally established in 2015, has evolved into a comprehensive Emirati digital ecosystem encompassing four integrated sub platforms, including AI driven financial trading tools, Clicky Services for automated customer care and business development, and the proprietary Clicky Browser, engineered to unify social networking, blogging, enterprise project management, and commercial utilities within a single interface.
