Nationwide AI Push: Monsha’at Launches Artificial Intelligence Week for SMEs in 7 Saudi Cities

RIYADH — The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), in strategic partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), is launching Artificial Intelligence Week across multiple cities in Saudi Arabia. Part of Monsha’at’s ongoing Business Weeks initiative, the five-day event focuses on empowering entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) owners to integrate AI applications, streamline operational efficiency, and accelerate enterprise competitiveness.

The nationwide campaign brings together more than 40 public, private, academic, and technology entities, including the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and King Faisal University.

Event Structure & Geographic Reach:

  • Core Locations: On-site activities will run at SME Support Centers in Riyadh and Madinah, as well as regional hubs in Jeddah and Alkhobar.

  • Regional Expansion: Specialized workshops and sessions are scheduled in Abha (in collaboration with the Aseer Development Authority and Work Corner incubator), Qassim (with the Qassim Chamber), and Jazan (with the Jazan Chamber).

  • Programming & Exhibition: The agenda includes 6 main panel discussions, over 48 entrepreneurial networking sessions, and a dedicated exhibition featuring 15 organizations showcasing tailored AI solutions for SMEs.

Coinciding with the Kingdom's Year of Artificial Intelligence, the initiative aligns directly with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to expand digital capability building, foster startup innovation, and drive sustainable private sector growth.
