MUSCAT — The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Sultanate of Oman has officially launched "SABR," an intelligent electronic data platform designed to collect, validate, and analyze regulatory information across the nation's telecommunications ecosystem.
The system transitions the Authority from manual data gathering methods—historically dependent on disparate spreadsheets and email submissions—to a unified, automated, and secure digital platform. SABR directly ingests and processes operational data from licensed telecom operators, validating records and rendering actionable intelligence via interactive dashboards and automated analytical reporting.
The platform provides a comprehensive suite of market indicators, including:
Telecommunications Indicators: Tracking active subscriber counts, mobile network rollouts, fiber deployment, and national service coverage metrics.
