Saudi Arabia Unveils Inaugural ‘Kingdom of Gaming’ B2B and Consumer Mega Event in Riyadh Co-Located with Black Hat MEA

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia is preparing to stage the inaugural edition of Kingdom of Gaming (KoG), an expansive international business, development, and investment platform co located alongside a major consumer gaming festival, scheduled to run from December 1 to December 3, 2026, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.

Organized by Tahaluf, the strategic joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP) and global events organizer Informa, the landmark event is designed to pivot the kingdom’s gaming strategy from competitive esports hosting toward domestic game creation, intellectual property development, and direct venture dealmaking. The gathering will take place concurrently with Black Hat MEA, the premier regional cybersecurity convention.

The platform has confirmed Savvy Games Group, the gaming investment vehicle owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), alongside international industry giants Ubisoft and Roblox, as official Global Gaming Leaders. Founding institutional partners include Tuwaiq Academy, NEOM, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with additional commercial and technical participation confirmed from Unreal Engine, Tencent Cloud, PUBG Mobile, and venture capital firms Impact46 and Merak Capital.

Organizers project the three day gathering will convene more than 20,000 visitors, 500 game development studios, 300 international exhibitors, and 200 venture investors, serving as the staging ground for an estimated 25 investment and commercial publishing transactions. The business and technical track will feature over 200 speakers delivering keynotes across four dedicated stages, examining generative artificial intelligence in game design, global ownership structures, sovereign digital infrastructure, and cross platform ecosystem monetization.

A core operational component of the event will be the KoG Academy, an educational accelerator delivering hands on technical training in modern game engines and digital asset production. Through the Made in the Kingdom initiative supported by Unreal Engine, emerging regional developers will construct and showcase original game builds on site, while PUBG Mobile integrates its World of Wonder creator ecosystem to incubate domestic design talent.

Amr Sager, Chief of Staff at Savvy Games Group, stated that Saudi Arabia is rapidly advancing toward an end to end industrial gaming ecosystem capable of sustaining long term economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030. Sager underscored that assembling global publishers, venture funds, and grassroots creators in Riyadh creates a permanent marketplace where international capital and regional talent converge to build the next generation of global gaming intellectual property.
