Sharaf DG Partners with MiPhi Semiconductors to Distribute Enterprise and AI Storage Solutions Across UAE

UAE

DUBAI — Technology retailer and corporate solutions distributor Sharaf DG has signed an exclusive commercial distribution partnership with MiPhi Semiconductors, a semiconductor joint venture uniting India’s Micromax Informatics and Taiwan’s Phison Electronics, to distribute specialized enterprise solid state drives and artificial intelligence storage architectures throughout the United Arab Emirates.

The strategic commercial pact establishes Sharaf DG as MiPhi’s primary distribution partner across the Emirates, serving as a regional springboard for the joint venture’s international expansion beyond South Asia. The initial market rollout focuses on deploying enterprise grade solid state storage and artificial intelligence workload storage hardware to cater to corporate data centers, managed cloud providers, and enterprise IT departments, with future phases scheduled to introduce consumer solid state drives and embedded memory controllers into the regional supply chain.

The collaboration addresses surging corporate demand for high throughput, low latency data processing hardware capable of managing large scale machine learning model training, generative reasoning, and complex algorithmic pipelines across the Arabian Gulf. By combining Phison’s international semiconductor controller engineering with Micromax’s manufacturing execution, MiPhi aims to deliver localized hardware alternatives for enterprise infrastructure operators requiring dense flash memory arrays.

Nilesh Khalkho, Chief Executive Officer of Sharaf DG, stated that as regional enterprises accelerate artificial intelligence deployment and digital transformation roadmaps, dependable high performance data infrastructure has emerged as an operational imperative. Khalkho noted that pairing MiPhi’s deep storage engineering capabilities with Sharaf DG’s established enterprise logistics network and corporate market presence allows both entities to address complex data requirements across the UAE while significantly broadening Sharaf DG’s B2B hardware portfolio.

Vikas Jain, Co Founder of MiPhi Semiconductors, emphasized that the next phase of technological expansion will be defined by the underlying memory architecture that enables data to move, scale, and compute efficiently. Jain affirmed that high throughput storage has become a decisive element within cognitive digital ecosystems, noting that the alliance with Sharaf DG establishes a foundational operational bridge to bring MiPhi’s enterprise silicon solutions to international markets starting with the United Arab Emirates.
