UAE Cyber Security Council and SCC Middle East Partner to Establish Global Centre of Excellence for Cyber Resilience at Ai Everything

UAE

ABU DHABI — The UAE Cyber Security Council and enterprise digital solutions provider SCC Middle East have signed a strategic partnership to establish a specialized Centre of Excellence for Cyber Resilience and Trusted Technology in the United Arab Emirates, designed to serve critical infrastructure and enterprise clients across regional and international markets.

Unveiled at the ADNEC Centre during Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026, the strategic initiative provides an operational sandbox and testing ground where public sector agencies, multinational corporations, technology partners, and cybersecurity specialists can evaluate emerging technologies, validate live operational use cases, and formulate secure scaling blueprints before broad institutional rollout.

The Centre of Excellence will execute its mandate through a structured three phase roadmap. Phase 1 focuses on accelerating national workforce capability through executive learning curricula, technical testing laboratories, and specialist certifications spanning artificial intelligence, cloud architectures, data governance, and critical infrastructure protection to move organizations from tentative experimentation to hardened operational adoption. Phase 2 establishes a dedicated startup incubator to nurture and test intellectual property created within the Emirates against rigorous production benchmarks. Phase 3 creates direct commercial corridors to export verified Emirati cybersecurity technologies to international enterprise customers and global partner ecosystems.

Under the framework, both entities will lead joint integration and delivery, synchronizing specialized technical resources and threat intelligence. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, noted that the country’s aggressive expansion in artificial intelligence and digital economic growth requires robust foundations, stating that the Centre of Excellence will bridge national strategic ambitions with practical, field tested operational defense capabilities.

Daniel Valle, Chief Executive Officer of SCC Middle East, emphasized that the initiative is designed not as a passive technology showcase, but as an active engineering hub focused on measurable outcomes. Valle affirmed that the center will convene partners around complex operational challenges, proving systems work within rigorous customer environments and maintaining absolute delivery accountability from initial design to active deployment.
