Zain KSA Net Profit Reaches SAR 402 Million in H1 2026 Driven by AI Center and Enterprise Services

RIYADHZain KSA has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting total revenues of SAR 5.3 billion and a net profit of SAR 402 million, representing a significant surge from the SAR 220 million recorded during the same period in 2025.

When excluding non-recurring gains, underlying net profit grew by 8% year-on-year, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached SAR 1.7 billion. The company attributed its performance to its sustainable growth strategy, backed by a more diversified revenue base, the expansion of enterprise digital solutions, heightened operational cost efficiencies, and improved overall revenue quality.

In addition to financial milestones, Zain KSA expanded its operational ecosystem through several technological launches during H1 2026. The telecom provider inaugurated its dedicated AI Center of Excellence to deploy artificial intelligence applications across decision-making, network performance optimization, and customer service workflows. Simultaneously, the operator rolled out an AI-powered Smart Hajj platform for real-time network management across the Holy Sites during peak seasonal demand.

On the security front, Zain KSA secured a Tier 2 Managed Security Operations Center (SOC) license, aligning its digital trust and cybersecurity portfolio with high national standards. The company also expanded its B2B footprint by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dammam Airports for smart travel infrastructure, alongside a strategic partnership between Zain Business and Classera to scale digital education solutions across the Kingdom.

"The first half financial results of 2026 reflect the success of our strategy in delivering balanced financial and operational growth, supported by continued investment in digital infrastructure, value-added services, and operational efficiency," Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman AlSadhan, Chief Executive Officer of Zain KSA, said in a statement. "Launching the AI Center of Excellence has been a strategic step enabling us to deploy cutting-edge technologies across our operations... supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030."
