UAE Unveils World's First Fully Integrated AI-Powered Judicial Platform
ABU DHABI — The United Arab Emirates has officially launched the world's first fully integrated artificial intelligence-powered judicial platform, marking a historic leap in the digitalization of court systems and legal governance.
The landmark initiative was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), via his official account on X.
"The launch of the world's first fully integrated AI-powered judicial platform reflects our firm belief that innovation is the path to a more efficient and faster justice system, while further reinforcing the UAE's position as a global model for advancing government and judicial excellence," Sheikh Mansour stated.
The platform consolidates core legal workflows into a single AI ecosystem. Key capabilities include:
Automated Case Analysis: Instant processing and structured breakdown of complex case files and legal documentation.
Precedent & Statutory Search: Rapid, intelligent retrieval of relevant UAE legislation, regulatory frameworks, and judicial precedents.
Document Generation: Automated drafting of analytical reports and legal memoranda to support court teams.
Officials emphasized that while the platform acts as an advanced legal assistant, judges will retain sole authority over final rulings, ensuring complete human oversight and judicial independence.
The first phase of implementation is scheduled to begin in September, following a phased 18-month roadmap aimed at significantly reducing litigation timelines and enhancing procedural consistency across the legal system.
