Cyshield Launches AI-Powered Coverage Analyzer rApp on Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform to Optimize Mobile Networks

CAIRO — Technology solutions provider Cyshield has officially announced the launch of its premier radio access network management application, Coverage Analyzer, engineered natively for the Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP). The new radio application (rApp) leverages artificial intelligence algorithms to provide mobile network operators with an uninterrupted, network wide diagnostic view of radio frequency coverage, transforming raw operational telemetry and complex network data into precise, actionable findings that engineering units can immediately execute.

Radio coverage deficiencies remain among the most persistent catalysts for subscriber churn and degraded quality of experience across the telecommunications sector. Historically, identifying and resolving these network anomalies has necessitated extensive physical drive testing, manual telemetry inspection, and prolonged multi week optimization cycles. The Coverage Analyzer automates substantial portions of this operational pipeline by continuously profiling radio environments across the entire network footprint. Through predictive machine learning models, the application flags overshooting cells that propagate far beyond their planned footprint to cause mutual radio interference, undershooting cells that leave coverage gaps at the outer boundaries of their intended service areas, and critical dead spots where subscribers experience weak signals or complete loss of connectivity.

Because the diagnostic engine runs natively inside the Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform, mobile network operators can feed analytical findings directly into closed loop automated optimization workflows. This tight software integration compresses the operational timeframe between initial anomaly detection and remediation, improving overall spectral efficiency, sustaining mobile data throughput, and delivering a consistent quality of experience for end subscribers.

Mostafa Eissa, Chief Executive Officer of Cyshield, noted that the release marks a critical operational milestone for the enterprise, underscoring that the future of network management is fundamentally open, programmable, and driven by artificial intelligence. Eissa affirmed that engineering the rApp directly on Ericsson's platform provides a practical framework for applying artificial intelligence directly to day to day operational challenges faced by operators and mobile subscribers alike.

Mahmoud Nour, Digital Intelligence and Analytics Senior Director at Cyshield, stated that cellular optimization has traditionally relied on intensive manual engineering oversight and expert human observation. Nour explained that the development team set out to codify that specialized expertise into artificial intelligence, enabling continuous, cell by cell network evaluation at a scale that manual engineering units cannot match. He emphasized that the Coverage Analyzer equips engineers with a precise starting point detailing the exact cell, problem, and geographic location, while native execution on Ericsson's platform allows those insights to flow straight into the automated resolution loop.
