KUWAIT CITY — The seventh Gulf Virtual Conference on Tech Innovation, Tech Entrepreneurship and Tech Artificial Intelligence Towards Economic Diversification will be held on July 26–27, 2026, bringing together more than 100 experts, policymakers, business leaders and academics under the theme “An Innovative Gulf and a Diversified Economy.”

The virtual conference will be held under the patronage of Dr. Tareq Hamad Al-Jalahma, Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, and organised by Ecosystem Consultants. Official Kuwaiti government sources confirm Al-Jalahma’s current ministerial title.

The programme will feature 28 leadership figures, 10 inventors and 10 startups, with 18 discussion sessions scheduled across two days. Conference activities are expected to run for up to 10 hours each day. Event promotional material confirms the July 26–27 dates and virtual format.

Dr. Hanadi Al-Mubaraki, Conference Chair and founder of Ecosystem Consultants, said in an Arabic-language statement that the event is designed to connect innovation, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship within an integrated framework for building a sustainable digital economy.

She described the conference as a Gulf and Arab platform focused on translating economic-diversification strategies into practical, technology-enabled programmes.

The agenda covers nine principal themes, including innovation in emerging markets, health technology, education, digital finance, smart cities, inventors’ experiences, technology entrepreneurship, startup support and the role of AI in economic diversification.

Discussions will also examine innovation’s impact on the digital economy and the use of smart programmes to transfer, commercialise and scale technology.

The conference’s objectives include presenting recent technological developments, encouraging innovation in strategic sectors, building partnerships, analysing economic opportunities and challenges and promoting responsible awareness of artificial intelligence.

Organisers also aim to support innovation ecosystems, strengthen community participation, expand smart and sustainable growth and accelerate the social and economic impact of technology-led programmes.

The event aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035 and wider Gulf priorities involving digital transformation, economic diversification, youth and women’s participation, environmental sustainability and improved quality of life.

Its programme will include an official opening ceremony, specialised lectures, roundtable discussions and an international competition offering financial prizes. Interactive awards will also be presented to participants through social-media activities.

The conference is intended to strengthen regional cooperation and provide a forum for converting Gulf and Arab economic visions into implementable innovation, entrepreneurship and AI initiatives.
