MUSCAT — The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Sultanate of Oman has announced the launch of the country’s first public auction for more than 60 premium national domain names under the country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) .OM.
The landmark initiative offers individuals, entrepreneurs, and commercial enterprises an opportunity to acquire high-value, category-defining digital web addresses across three premium registration tiers: Diamond, Gold, and Silver.
The auction features sought-after domain names serving high-growth strategic economic sectors, including:
Real Estate & Property: property.om
Logistics & Supply Chain: delivery.om
E-Commerce & Enterprise: ebusiness.om
Recruitment & Human Capital: jobportal.om
Technology & Solutions: AIsolutions.om
Registration and competitive bidding are being conducted exclusively through official digital auction portals hosted by TRA-accredited registrars:
Oman Data Park (Oman Digital Data): auction-platform.otech.om/auctions

According to the TRA, the release of premium .OM domains is designed to strengthen brand identity, enhance digital presence, boost search visibility, and elevate commercial marketing value for businesses operating in the Sultanate. The initiative forms part of Oman’s broader digital economy roadmap, supporting national digital branding and fostering an agile digital business environment aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
