Ooredoo Qatar Partners with McKinsey & Company to Accelerate Digital Transformation and Scale Enterprise AI Adoption

DOHA — Telecommunications operator Ooredoo Qatar, a subsidiary of Ooredoo Group, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with global management consultancy McKinsey & Company to direct and accelerate the next phase of its enterprise transformation, placing core emphasis on digital architectures and artificial intelligence technologies.

The formal bilateral agreement was signed by Sheikh Ali bin Jabor bin Mohammad Al-Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar, alongside Bob Sternfels, Global Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company.

Under the collaborative framework, the engagement is structured to harness advanced digital capabilities and cognitive models to unlock commercial expansion, improve operational agility, and generate long term sustainable value across Ooredoo’s subscriber ecosystem, workforce, and enterprise partner networks. The initiative builds directly upon the Strategic Digital and AI Transformation Program initiated by Ooredoo Qatar earlier this year, which established operational pathways to accelerate artificial intelligence integration across corporate operations, customer lifecycle management, and enterprise B2B service delivery.

Sheikh Ali bin Jabor bin Mohammad Al-Thani stated that collaborating with McKinsey will enable the operator to convert broad strategic ambitions into measurable operational outcomes while actively contributing to Qatar’s national digital ecosystem. The alliance reinforces Ooredoo Qatar’s strategic positioning as a core digital enabler and directly supports the high level economic diversification and technology mandates established under Qatar National Vision 2030.
