stc Bahrain Drives Youth Upskilling with Free Summer Workshops in AI, Cloud, and Design
MANAMA — Digital enabler stc Bahrain has launched its annual Summer Workshops series, offering free, hands-on sessions aimed at equipping citizens and residents with future-ready digital, analytical, and professional capabilities.
Operating under the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework, the initiative builds on stc Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to local human capital development. Running twice weekly from July through late August, the workshops are curated to balance advanced technical concepts, career development, and creative expression.
The curriculum spans three primary development tracks:
Technical Skills: Foundational training in artificial intelligence (AI), data management, cloud architecture, and web technologies.
Professional Growth: Focused modules on career readiness, personal brand design, and digital productivity tools.
Creative Expression: Practical, hands-on artistic sessions, including artisanal hand crafts.
Sessions are delivered through a collaborative format featuring stc Bahrain’s internal subject matter experts, local influencers, and external industry leaders.
"We believe that empowering our community with forward-looking knowledge is the foundation for enabling a progressive and innovative future for the Kingdom," Sh. Zeyad Bin Faisal Al Khalifa, Chief Government Affairs Officer at stc Bahrain, said in a statement. "We aim to make critical digital expertise, creative skills, and professional mentorship accessible to everyone, helping Bahrainis unlock new capabilities and successfully navigate the digital future."
While attendance is free, pre-registration is required to maintain small class sizes and ensure an interactive learning environment.
